Kerrie & I met Ray in 1968, over 50 years ago. While I owe Ray a deep and sincere debt of gratitude for his influence on my career and his support during our overseas working trips, it is the longstanding friendship we had with Ray & Rita that will remain forever in our memory. Wonderful times out on the boat, at our home and at Artarmon. Thanks...
We have many fond memories of dear Uncle Ray. Long car trips to visit Mt Colah. Picnics at Lake Macquarie watching them sail Red Ned. Listening to the Beach Boys and America on his quadraphonic sound system in NZ. More recently during a caravan trip north, a stopover and a lovely catchup dinner in Alstonville, with a good bottle of red, of course. ...
So many fond memories, much advice and wisdom shared. Will be missed always. Much love to everyone. Kristen xx

Ray taught me that no matter what your age or physical abilities to never become afraid of the world. To get out there, get involved, take chances and cultivate a genuine interest in people and places.
An early memory for me is Mt Colah and Hot August Night. So fittingly I raise a glass of 'red' to you, while Neil is at full volume. Farewell dear Uncle Ray. Aunty Rita, Ruth, Annette, Peter and families, a lovely farewell to a wonderful man. All my love, Meagan

🕯 Karen lit a candle Fond memories of meeting up with Red Ned on the Hawkesbury and lively discussions over a few reds, usually at Tricia and Howard's. Rest in Peace, Ray. You will be missed, but remembered in our hearts. Deepest condolences to all the family and friends. Karen and Phil Grieveson
Please accept my heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Ray was an incredible and dynamic personality and a great friend to my father. The world is certainly the poorer for his loss. It is so hard to believe he has gone and my family and I want to offer you, Rita and family, the deepest sympathy. We are devastated.
