Catherine Sundeen Cousin/aunts hangout just prior to Frances' arrival!
Catherine Sundeen Auntie/Grauntie Pauline - you will be remembered for your fun, your hospitality, your practicality, your straight talk, your love of a bargain...… so many things.....but most of all your love. I loved visiting you and when you visited us, you were always welcoming and made a home away from home. You always made time to send cards and little gifts from the West Coast, since we were little, and I know the effort that that required. Always practical, always fun. It created a connection even though we didn't get to see you often until we were older. I loved how you struck up a friendship with my husband when he started to travel to Vancouver for work. He had so much fun staying with you guys, watching terrible movies, eating licorice. It was really special to me that you took care of him like you took care of me. Then when Frances came along, you were such a wonderful "Grauntie". We loved our visit last April on the way to Australia, and that you had an opportunity to spend some quality time with Frances (then again this summer). I learned about thrift shop shopping from you, particularly the value of a quality tea towel. Also stain removal, and how to track down the elusive Mexican "Zote". ;) I will miss you so much, and I'm so sad you won't see Frances grow up (and the new one!). We promise to visit Vancouver often and keep the connection going, which is all thanks to you. We love you. Catherine, Jeff and Frances. xoxo

I'll forever remember the twinkle in her eyes. A great friend, and a pleasure to work with. And so supportive! She loved the theatre so much she'd even come to watch me on stage. I swear I could hear her laughter cutting through the rest of the audience. She'll be missed.
I first met this little fireball in high school. I had failed a grade and Pauline had skipped a couple, together with Deborah we made a quirky trio. We lost touch for many years but with the help of the internet we were able to continue our friendship many years and miles apart. Even though my heart is absolutely saddened by her passing I will rem...
Farewell to my best friend, my love.
My sympathies to your family. I knew Pauline only a brief time but her kind personality left an impression.
Morgan Megannety Mum hadn't ever had an espresso martini so I took her to what the internet told me was the best place for said cocktails in Vancouver (Subeez - RIP). It was actually the worst, so we chased it up with something fruity & had a lovely time together just the same xo
We started a special relationship in 1973 and it grew over the following decades. She will be missed !!
Dear Pauline. Although our meeting was brief, I was fortunate to have your memories and experiences shared with me through your loving little sister Dodie. I know how happy you made her and how she looked forward to your escapades together. You will me missed here on earth by many. May your spirit comfort them and may you rest in eternal peace....
Morgan Megannety So glad we had such a fun and special fam jam together on Saturna this summer. We love you Mommers xoxo

Morgan Megannety Mum was very good at keeping in touch over our beloved Fam Time chat x
Paul Megannety Herself enjoying life.
Mrs. Megannety, I won’t forget when I was in elementary school, over at the Megannety house for my first sleep over ever. When I got homesick in the middle of the night, you let me sit in your bed while you watched tv and waited for my parents to come get me. I was embarrassed and you wouldn’t let me feel bad about it. Thank you. My sincerest c...

Pauline - such a beautiful and loving lady, we miss you so very much.
Even though we never met, you were a lovely woman and you will be missed !! 🇮🇪🇮🇪
I was so lucky to have enjoyed many holiday adventures with Pauline. She was always full of life and laughter and was excellent at organising amazing trips. I was fortunate to spend precious time with her and enjoyed all her visits to Edinburgh. I will miss my cousin and friend. Our thoughts are with Paul, Morgan and Brendan
Only six months ago I had the pleasure of enjoying dinner together with Pauline, Paul, Terence and Geraldine. I was very much looking forward to the next time we would meet. So sorry to hear the news. Much love, Paul, Morgan and Brendan, from the other side of the pond. I'll raise a glass on Sunday in Pauline's honour. Feck it, I'll raise a glass S...

We were so saddened to hear the news of Pauline. We will thinking of the Pauline, her family and many friends tomorrow. She will be missed. Love Jana and Dan
Being Pauline younger sister was no easy act to follow. Between her brains, her heart and her beauty I've had a tough act to follow. She taught me kindness, to be forgiving, to give without expectation and to accept the hurdles we may face in our lives. I will try my best to carry on the qualities instilled in me to carry on being the strong and...
Our Dear Pauline, we were so sorry to hear of your passing! Cousin Sandy and I looked so forward to your visits, sometimes with Paul and the kids and sometimes by yourself! I will miss the times staying up late just talking and drinking wine catching up on life! You always knew just the right thing to say to people to make them feel special! I'm so...
Pauline was my very-first-supervisor on my very-first-job in the accounting profession, and boy was I a scared newbie! However, Pauline made me feel welcome and supported. Over the years, I also came to appreciate how smart, service-oriented and talented she was. My deepest condolences to the Megannety family.
Pauline served as a volunteer member on a number of her profession's (CMABC) committees culminating in her becoming Chair of our Professional Conduct Enquiry Committee. As staff liaison to these committees Pauline and I spent many hours together. While time has moved on since those days I fondly recollect her dedication, optimism, friendly smile ...
Pauline gave me a job when I had lost mine( due to being a rather fast driver!) I was accepted it in to her house and got to know her, Paul Morgan and Brendan very well over the next few years! She was caring... I had no medical insurance and she took me to her own Drs after falling ill with a clam allergy! She paid for my medical insurance after ...
Family and friends
With deep sadness we announce the passing of Pauline Megannety, a beloved mother, wife, gramma, sister, cousin, aunt and friend, on November 17th, 2019.
