We want to let you all know that Pat, Mom, Grammy, Mimi passed. We especially want to say loudly and clearly and with an abundance of admiration “Her will to live was phenomenal”. She fought long and hard for 4 years. During that time she continued to embody and carry on with one of her deepest desires; to seek adventure...long drives in the mountains with the requisite picnic, travel t... more

Join Memorieschip paison I so believed that I had a bunch of photos from the ranch in Wyoming that we frequented for 2-3 years on Memorial Day wknd with Andersons, DeBords, Fixs and Paisons. My memory failed me. Could only find this POS image. This was fabulous times for the families before our first loss. Tubing, fishing, chopping wood, card games, and yes of course -- outhouses! What a great time. I believe this photo has Dick Fix on front tube. My memory is tubing really never ended well, but wtf we tried. Wish I had better images to share. Love you guys so much.

I remember your alls mom when she would come to WV for summers-- I had the Health food store in town then and she "worked' for me- the shop had been moved up the hill/across the road from its original spot and business was ....slow. Pat would find ways to keep busy by moving items around (making it appear as new inventory!), kept the flowers and p...
I have many precious memories of Pat. Growing up together as cousins and playmates in the Park Center community. Her talent as a pianist that she gained so quickly and easily. Later, her friendship and support during my first year in college in Lincoln while she was beginning her career in nursing. More recently, her cheerful messages and our sh...
My dear friend Pat, you will be missed more than you know. I will always remember how welcoming you were eight years ago when I was so fortunate to become your neighbor. All our dinners with Miffy, sharing thoughts and news of our beloved families. All the flowers and pies. The rhubarb, the water and most of all, the laughter! You will forever be ...
I remember Pat well from family visits to NE with my mother (Myrtle Peterson Forney) and family. She was always kind and gracious to we “younguns” who watched and adored her from afar. I also recall seeing her at family gatherings when we were both adults. Still adored her even though I didn’t know her well. My mom was very fond of both Irene and ...
Beth DeBord Patty, I can still hear your laugh. It truly was the best and so contagious. You were a gift to everyone who knew you and the best second mom I could ask for. I love you Patty
My jewel in my life..patty... My life was filled with happiness because of patty. She was always ready for anything...the smile and laugh and joy and a great cook. Dick and i would have missed out on life without patty. The tears have been flowing today. The cabin, the bike rides, the Friday night dinners, and good and not so good times. We ...

Kari Clark I will always remember her sharp wit and her deep love for her kids and grands. Thankful to have been a part of her life. Be at peace. We will miss you so. Kari
When I was a freshman at the University Pat and Gordon were so kind to me. I was invited to Sunday dinner and Pat also fixed my hair for me. She was a wonderful hostess when the cousins got together in West Virginia. That was a very special time for all of us. Pat has been part of my life - all of my life. Her passing leaves a hole in my heart!...
I was eight years old when Pat was born. Having a baby sister was wonderful and the best thing that could happen. For the next 82 years having Pat for a sister has been a great thing in my life. She was always there for me and our times together through the years were wonderful. Pat was an excellent pianist. I remember that at 14 years of age she w...

What can I say... she had an amazing soul. Pat, Irene & Susie all make you feel so special, and so much fun to chat with. I loved Pats humor! We flew to Atlanta to visit my brother and met up with Pat and Irene to drive with them to Lauren & Dawson’s wedding. My brother gave them a tour of Atlanta (he missed a couple exits and kept driving around i...
Immediately after hanging up with Kyle Rae yesterday listening to the news of Pat's passing, before even visiting this site and reading Kyle’s invocation to get out and take a walk, breath in and notice, that was my first impulse. Off to Elden woods on bikes with my partner, Tyler. Stash the bikes in a gully and hike the trails that meander through...
Always an ardent admirer of Pat's beauty and talents I began to idolize her when I was in the 1st grade and she in the 6th. She saved my life. (At least that's the way it was in my 1st grade mind and remains that way in my elderly one.) One recess an 8th grade boy began taking great pleasure in pushing me face down in the snow. Pat strode up to...
I want you both to know how important your mom was in my life. In many ways, she served as a second mother to me at the time. I miss her (and both of you). I did not become the person I am today without her. Jim Ross
Pat was so many things to me and my family. She came into my life 30 years ago when Cea and I became buds. Since then, other than cheerleading our crazy sisterhood adventures (trying to copy Kyle those first ten years or so as the perpetual youngest siblings), Pat was my confidante with some health issues, a guide for my starting out as a wife who ...
So extremely sad to hear about your Mom's passing. So sorry to hear of your Moms passing. I have such fond memories of her and your whole family. Mostly I remember your Mom's laugh! I also remember her as someone who found the joy in life. Trips to YMCA and Wyoming cabin and Flathead Lake are all prominent. I hope you and your family are doing OK. Our best Regards, Kyle DeBord
Cea Mount We grew up together, Pat & I, and raised three beautiful children together. We shared many years of outdoor, family adventures. I am so proud & thankful that her daughters were her loving caretakers to the very end. Gordon

Pat and I met in an exercise class quite a few years ago, and then we discovered we were "alley" neighbors. My husband and I have been in East Texas for the winter . Staying longer than usual because of the virus, I was sick at heart to learn of Pat's death when we arrived home a week ago. I remember her laugh, her intelligence, her talents. We...
Oh, so many memories of our high school days in Nebraska. Pat was such a fun loving person. We played volleyball, were cheerleaders, loved music and spent weekends together. I loved her piano playing, always wishing I had her talent. We both lived in Lincoln, when she was in nursing school, I attended her graduation. Both of us married, had ch...
