Pak Fai Chan's memory board

Pak Fai Chan, age 84, passed away suddenly and peacefully on Thursday, March 26, 2020, at his home in Laguna Woods, CA. Pak was born on September 22, 1935, to Bun-Lin and Esther Yuk-Wah Chan. He loved the Lord and served wholeheartedly in Christian ministry for over 50 years. His faith was evident through constant prayer, reading the Bible, teaching, counseling, sharing the gospel, tithing, loving others profoundly and generously, and having joy and contentment. He wanted to be like King David, a “man after God’s own heart," and is regarded as a faith giant by many. Pak is survived by his wife of over 52 years, Barbara Lai-Ping; his oldest daughter, Joanna, and her family – Byron, Kristen (age 21), Darin (age 19), and Ethan (age 18); his middle daughter, Priscilla, and her family – Alister Scott, Erinea (age 14), Joshua (age 12), Carisa (age 10), and Aliya (age 7); and his youngest daughter, Serena, and her family – Allister, Caleb (age 3), and Corinne (coming Summer 2020). A memorial service is currently on hold due to the COVID-19 virus crisis and the family will share plans as soon as it is available. In the meanwhile, this website was built for Pastor Chan's family and friends to connect online and share their personal memories and stories. Please feel free to browse this site, sign the guestbook, and/or add a memory, which will populate in the "Life Story" timeline if a date is notated (optional). Thank you for visiting.
