Dr Peter Smith Ahhh Michael..you live on ..in so many ways. How wonderful that your reach spans the globe yet laser like into individuals. BLOODY MARVELLOUS..may the red wine run smoothly now & keep writing books as I believe the BIG BOSS (if you wish to refer to such in a euphemistic sense) needs some academic instruction in CSR3rd October, 2025
Winsue KaranjaIt has taken me forever to come up with the proper words to describe Dr. Michael Hopkins. Like William Hopkins said, it's very easy and yet very difficult because there's alot to say. In a nutshell, I am grateful and honored to have met and known Prof, as I called him, and forever will cherish the good times we had together. May his soul rest in eternal peace.17th September, 2025

Rolph van der HoevenAfter I introduced Mike to live in Addis Abeba in spring 1977, we became the next year for 3 years roommates in ILO Geneva and close friends since.
We had many professional and non-professional activities together. His wit, laughter and search for unconventional solutions will stay with me forever.
I miss him already……17th September, 2025

Rosalind ShirkieWe are so sad that Mike is no longer here. Trying to remember all of the times we spent together, parties, lunches, dinners, they all meld into one. I remember too, his mum, and what a personality she was. Living in La Ville, Petit Bornand, I know that the community will feel his absence greatly. Our lasting memory will be of a generous hearted man, who really liked people. Who could at times be serious, but always, always fun. Love, Roz, David, Emily and Raphael. Xxxx15th September, 2025
