Michael Brose
8th July, 1953 - 8th May, 2020Michael Richard Brose passed away peacefully after several years of battling with Parkinson’s Disease on May 8th, 2020. He was a devoted father to Aric and Katrina and husband to Catherine. Michael’s life was dedicated to his faith, family and friends. Michael grew up with 2 sisters, one older and one younger. Michael, Chris & Jeanette were close, and shared a lot of laughter and mischief growing up. Their parents, Alberta and Richard, had their hands full. Michael started to learn about his God Jehovah when he started a study of the Bible in 1971 and then was baptized in 1973. During that time he met Cathy at the Kingdom Hall and the two were wed in January of 1974. Michael was a very talented man. He spent many years as a piano technician who could literally assemble a piano from the ground up. Music played a major part of his life and though he was thought of as a quiet man, you only had to to wait until he picked up his guitar and started to sing and you would be amazed. He often played guitar, piano, wrote songs and performed at many gatherings with friends. It was always a look of surprise the first time anyone heard him play. Michael was also a talented juggler who taught juggling and invented new ways of make juggling equipment. The business he created is still active in his son Aric’s care. Ventriloquist figure-making was a well known activity of Michael’s and though it started as a hobby, his talent in the art quickly became manifest to others in the profession, leading it to becoming the main support for his family including publishing books on the subject. He was so proud of his children and the people they have grown to be. He treasured his time with Aric and Katrina and later his favorite (and only) son-in-law Terral. Michael and Cathy gathered young people over the years into their family and Michael would call them “our extra children”. He loved connecting with them over the years. From California to Minnesota and finally to Benson, Arizona—Mic
