Claudine Morgan Mom on her wedding day. đź’–

I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sadness. Mrs. Morgan was my Catec teacher in the early 80's. Loved her, absolutely loved her. Always so positive, cheery. She will certainly be missed. She is with a higher being now and will always remain safe! God Bless- Lisa

Kirsten Adams-Morgan Myself as a baby with Meme and her mom, “Namer.” And last August, Meme only met Harvey through my belly, but she saw plenty of pictures and videos. 💕

Interacting with Marianne in conjunction with our common concern for our shared granddaughter, Kirsten, or simply meeting up with her (and, of course, Cecil, always at her side) at Walmart or wherever -- I always left with huge sense of her Kindness, pure Sweetness, Goodness, Joy in the world, and Great LOVE for her family and for Humanity in gener...

When I saw Marianne’s obit my heart sank but as memories came flooding in, I just had to smile. Marianne was always such a positive light and her smile lit up the room. Her laughter was infectious and she sure loved a good joke but she even laughed at the really bad ones! She loved her life with Cecil and the two of them made traveling an advent...

Marianne is remembered as a very sweet and loved nursing instructor at Martha Jefferson Hospital for many years. I too was a nurse there, so spent a lot of time with Marianne and her grateful students. It was so touching to read of her beautiful family and what she gave to us all over the years. It was a blessing to have known Marianne.

My mother shared many stories over the years about her job as a nurse. There was one story in particular that has stuck with me all these years. Mom was working at Uva hospital, at the time,(1970’s) when she had a patient in her care who had survived the Holocaust. He had no family, but he had a small stack of coins in his hospital room side tabl...

I am a CATEC/MJH LPN graduate of Marianne Morgan and Ruth Updike from 1976. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My memories of her are very fond. She was an excellent instructor and I am sorry I did not get to run into her post graduation all these years. I had 3 role models and your mom was one of them. She was old school and never cut corners. I ...

My fondest memory was when I was in the hospital and she made time to come to my room and comfort me. She made sure I had everything I needed during my stay at MJH. It was so good to see a friend. God Bless your family.

Reading Ann's obituary brought a rush of memories from the years of our childhood, growing up in Belmont. As the older sister by two years, we shared so many things: riding our bikes up Monticello Mountain, running down the street to play with friends Gloria and Sandra, our black cat Skinnyflint, playing for hours in Belmont Park skating, swinging ...

Mrs. Morgan was one of my nursing instructors. My fond memories of her was that she had the utmost patience with her students and everyone she came into contact with. She was always so helpful to everyone as well. I was saddened to hear of her passing. Condolences to her family. She was a great person and I am so happy to have known her.
