Heartbroken and still unable to process this huge loss to the world. I look forward to memorializing Irvin with the rest of our family and friends soon. I know Irvin will continue to shine down on our family with all the future milestones that he will miss as an angel on Earth. I know he will be with us forever through our actions and love. Miss you baby brother. 💔❤️🩹 (💕 Photo sent via Auntie Helen Campbell.)

Jenny Erickson Here’s a photo of the crybaby crew (me, Jenny; Irvin; and my big bro, David) that Auntie Helen was watching. Lol. My mom, Helen, says she was watching Irvin because he was the “favorite baby. He was very easy, not crying, would eat everything you feed him, and not greedy either.” My older brother, David, also just pointed out that my spiral perm fro looks like a hairdo from the 1950s. Also, I see my overalls are coming back in style these days… Oh, Irvin, we will miss your easygoing, chill, personality and you are everyone’s favorite (even though you’re not supposed to have favorites 😉)! 💔❤️🩹😇
Rosie Tjarks
Rosie Tjarks Heyo and I visited Vietnam in 2010! This was the last time I interacted with Irvin. During that trip we reconnected as young adults, I was amazed how well you guys were doing in life and the success in your careers. The only time we got along and didn’t nag or fight. 🤣 I truly wished we stayed connected and knew how much you were loved by so many! You will be missed!
Alan Nguyen Irvin was always the best uncle to Aria. He was always there when we needed him the most.
Alan Nguyen After work, we used to try new cool 'hole-in-the-wall' places in Saigon for dinner before they became popular.
Alan Nguyen When he used to walk into the clubs, there would be a chorus of 'anh Irvin oi's. lol

Alva Wan We studied abroad in Singapore and traveled to a bunch of countries together. He was always down to do whatever. Always had his jokes and shenanigans; he never failed to bring humor and joy to our trips.

Tat Sun Ho During Vietnam new year holiday, Irvin and I didn't go back to California to our families. Instead, we crashed our business partner's family gathering in Bao lap, Vietnam, to enjoy the sunshine and ride ponies. Best of all, someone else paid for the trip for us.
Tat Sun Ho Irvin, Ian, Alan, and I went to the Manila, Philippines to our fraternity brother's, Carson, wedding.
Christian Leitzinger In 2008, I had the pleasure of working with Irvin in Vietnam. We had a small investment firm, and were doing equity research, sales and trading. From here, I would build a great friendship with Irv, where he would eventually become a roommate for two years, and be a part of my wedding. This photo is from a chaotic day where we moved our office. It was an incredible time, which involved the police, the mafia and bolt cutters.
Tat Sun Ho Irvin, Ian and I attended Christian's Singapore wedding. People got really drunk that night, but like always, I skipped out on most of the shots. Wait someone drank for me. Thanks, Irvin. I will miss you.
Tat Sun Ho Irvin and I went on a business trip together in Bangkok, Thailand, and I made him eat chicken feet and pig intestines. I thought it was funny at the time, and you hated it. From Earth to heaven: Sorry pledge bro. I promise I will never do it again.
Tat Sun Ho Before Irvin moved to Vietnam, he visited Ho Chi Minh City for a 3 months internship at our bank. We traveled to the countryside together and got caught in the rain wearing these thin poncho in style.
Christian Leitzinger Irv was my roommate when I met Thao, so it was an honor to have him participate in my wedding. Here we are at my wife’s family home in Saigon. Irv was an awesome friend and roomie. Sad that I don’t have any photos of that time living in D5, Saigon. We would spend hours brainstorming business ideas, playing Battlefront and trying to find cheap food.
Christian Leitzinger Irv was my roommate when I met Thao. It was an honor to have him in my wedding. Here is the Saigon ceremony. Later, we had another in Singapore.

I met Irvin when I moved to HCMC in 2013. Heartbroken and away from home and family, he was there for me right from the start, entertaining me, taking care of me, giving me advice and guiding me, then and many years later. Irvin to me was more than just a close friend, he was/ is family. He was the funniest, the most intelligent, the most generous ...

Ian Nguyen Irvin headed finance for our cosmetics import, distribution and retail business in Vietnam. Picture courtesy of Steve Kinoshita visiting from Singapore with friends after a very late night (or early morning) where Irvin’s legendary status was validated and his nickname was dubbed Irvin “the Situasian” when MTV Jersey Shore was all the rage. Always a “philanthropist”, Irvin loved handing out the promotional make-up freebies to the ladies a gifts.
Ian Nguyen In Ha Long bay with our favorite Great Aunt Helen where she was cheated with a leaky room on our cruise boat that flooded. We refused to pay for that room. They tried to hold us hostage. Calls were made and eventually they capitulated courtesy of Vietnam’s tourism authority and a limousine chauffeured us back to Hanoi.
