Thinking back at all the memories I’ve had with grandpa; there is one moment that comes to my mind immediately. Grandpa, Dad, Ian and I were waiting in the car while the others were inside the grocery store. Dad was bragging on how strong grandpa was and even challenged us to arm wrestle against him. To my surprise, despite his age, grandpa had no ...

Back when Grandpa lived with us in Temecula I usually found him working in our backyard or reading the bible with a small magnifying glass, which helped keep his body and mind strong. Perhaps what stood out most to me about Grandpa was his love for God; his eyes would light up each time he taught my siblings and I about the Lord. Grandpa was a kind...

Summer Cresencia Grandpa used to watch me when I was a baby and when I was a little girl in the Philippines. I remember at night, we used to sit on the front porch and he would tell me to say goodnight to the moon! When I got older he would always laugh and say “you’re getting taller!” He loved giving me candy for some reason, I think it was his favorite treat. Love you Grandpa, I will miss you. Say hi to mom for me.

The things that I remember most about Grandpa was his strength and the happiness he had and shared with others. Like Rocky, I remember the time I had arm wrestled him and despite me using both of my hands to push his down, I could never do it. Even when we were both older a couple years later, I still couldn’t beat him. Whenever I think of the ot...

Jaclyn Fernandez My memories of Grandpa consist of many different things... watching him climb banana trees, planting fruits and vegetables in the backyard, and even just singing everywhere around the house. I was so lucky to have Grandpa drive me and pick me up from school from Kindergarten to 3rd grade in his baby blue Volkswagen Beetle. No matter how late I stayed at school, he would always be there waiting for me with a smile on his face. He shared many stories, his love for God, and even in his 90’s was a powerful speaker and strong patriarch. Grandpa, thank you for everything you’ve done over the years. We love you and we will miss you always!

Cliff C Hey Dad... I am missing you so much, Dad. I miss holding your rough, callused 96 yr old hands. I miss holding you up, feeling your grip tighten our handhold as you avoid from falling down while you take a step & another step; but your 96 yr old legs won’t move...instead they shake & fight your will to want to move forward. I miss watching you secretly from a nearby place as you struggle to free yourself from the confines of your wheelchair... stubbornly & meticulously pushing yourself up using your right hand first, then left, then your legs...you were slow, methodical and it was painful to watch but I knew you wanted get up & show yourself that you still can walk. You didn’t think I’d leave you alone while you’re under my care, do yah? I miss observing you try to shift your weight while in the front passenger seat of Zoom Zoom as we drive through the streets & freeways of LA; exhale a barely inaudible sigh of resignation when you’re unsuccessful in scooting; and clasp your hands, after a few seconds...a confirmation that you gave up trying to scoot & a silent signal that you’re eager to reach our final destination. I miss our planting sessions in the backyard & telling me that I have too many plants. I will treasure the bonsai plant that you made. I miss watching your perplexed face, your look of concern and bewilderment and “what the heck am I going to do with this bird” look when Mumford is on your shoulders. I miss hearing you mispronounce my name. “Clippord,” you say... “we’re always eating and eating... Clippord.” Dad, when I said, I wanted you home...I meant at Mohawk. But then again, you’ve always chosen wisely. I love you dad.

Our deepest sympathy and condolences to your family. May you rest in peace my dear cousin Dr.Guillermo Cresencia. From: Ana(Tacing) Cresencia Beaudoin and Gabriel Beaudoin family.(Canada, Ontario)

Stacey Cresencia One of my earliest memories of Grandpa is how he'd set up a swing set in the middle of his house for me to play on. I'll always remember you as my smiling and happy grandfather. Rest in peace.

My fondest memories of Grandpa are characterized by his dedication to his loved ones. His constant insistence on lending a helping hand at any event was a testament to his strength and devotion to family. He could always find a way to fill a room with endless laughter and our small conversations throughout the years served as reminders to never sto...

Kimberly Cagalawan I did not get to see Grandpa too often, but when I did he always had a smile on his face - if he was smiling you best believe you had a smile on your face too. Grandpa loved doing yard work! Every time I would come home from classes, there he was, either sitting on his wooden seat (that he made himself) picking weeds or up in his avocado tree. He loved his yard ... his family ... but most most of all the Lord. Say hi to Grandpa Art for me. Rest peacefully, Grandpa 💙
