Charles Hudman

Charles Hudman passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025, of a heart attack at the age of 65. At the time of his passing, Charles was fulfilling a long-term dream of vacationing in the warm and tropical climate of Costa Rica with his husband and life partner, John Kuykendall. The outpouring of love and support from so many people whose lives Charles touched has been overwhelming. We encourage all who knew and loved Charles to post your stories, memories and pictures so that, together, we can not only console one another as we mourn his loss but also pass along that contagious laughter and joy that Charles exuded. We will be hosting two events celebrating Charles’ vibrant life. One will be held on the evening of Thursday, April 3rd in Cobb Island, MD. The second event will be held on the afternoon of Saturday, April 5th in Washington, DC.
