Hello everyone, and welcome to the memorial page, and online funeral service, for our mum, Carole. We know this whole thing is less than ideal; these are pretty strange times and I guess this is a pretty strange way to have a funeral service. But we hope it will provide SOME of the same things we all need from a physical funeral. We're so sorry that we couldn't see you all in person today and hopefully when this strange lockdown era is over we'll be all able to gather for some kind of memorial. Mum died at home at Pump Farm, in her own bed, with people by her side, and not in pain by that point. Her cremation will be in the morning of the 24th June at Bentley Crematorium in Brentwood and there will be a few of us there to say goodbye; we are so sorry that due to Covid-19 there can't be more of us. So if you would to join us at 3pm BST on this Wednesday the 24th June we three shall be watching the two videos we will be posting here, raising a glass or 5, hopefully at the same time as many of you all around the world. Video 1 will contain eulogies by family and friends, and number 2 is a shorter collection of photos and memories set to music. They last about half an hour in total. By gathering at the same time, despite being miles apart, we hope this helps us all to feel a little more connected to each other. If you are unable to join us at 3pm, don't worry! We won't know who is here at 3pm and who isn't! The video will be available permanently after this time on this site and you can come watch it whenever you wish. This also means that anyone we may have been unable to contact, or is unable to watch at the 3pm start time, can just catch up at a later date. On this page you can all leave comments, photos and videos, so please feel free to upload any memories of Mum you'd like to add. Just click on the '+ADD A MEMORY' button and follow the instructions. You can do that any time from now! We hope this funeral is a fitting tribute to the huge presence she clea
