Bill Waterhouse was an Australian bookmaker and businessman. Once known as the biggest bookie in the world, Bill Waterhouse started as a bookman's clerk in 1938. He has made bookmaking his fulltime career in 1954 after retiring from being a barrister in 1948. He rose to be reputed as the world's biggest bookmaker and gambler in 1968.
