Hilary Hinton "Zig" Ziglar was an American author, salesman, and motivational speaker who departed this life at the age of 86 due to pneumonia. He does motivational seminars for companies for their success and to improve their faith. Born 1926 in Coffee County, Alabama, he attended the University of South Carolina before serving in the U.S. Navy during WWII. In 1968, he became a vice president and training director for the Automotive Performance Company. Ten years later, in 1978 Ziglar wrote his first book, “See You at the Top.” In 1982 he sold his audiobook “Zig Ziglar's Secret of Closing the Sale” and in 1986 he released the book "Top Performance: How to Develop Excellence in Yourself and Others."
