Family and friends
Raeid Bsat Born in Saida, Lebanon
Nora Elbaba My favorite pic with Z
Moved to Vienna, Austria
Neeveen Bsat Nassar I cant forget how we spent our days in laughter... not forgetting knocking on walls... hiding out...& teasing the family!
Moved to the United States
Alessia Adorni When I met Z the first time at Kika in 2007. He was very young but with the clear sign of a charismatic leader
Simon Hawken Zaher was working though his ideas for a new product. When he ran out of flip charts he continued writing on the windows of his office. The product became a multi million $ seller and is now used across the world. A beautiful mind !!
Sebastien Bohn Another ´Challenge accepted’ from Zaher: I’m telling you we can fit 7 people in this car..
Sebastien Bohn One of our mutual friends said this picture says it all about your kindness and generosity. Only 2 from a long list...
Simon Hawken When we were on the road together in Europe we would always take a portable Shisha !
Sebastien Bohn ´I will always take care of you’ is certainly what best represents you my friend. I know that’s what you’re telling me at this very moment.
CJ Nedic Z hand picked those in his inner circle to help him build the eClinical business. We became family. He extended that circle of family to all the employees. In Sept 2013, members of the eClinical family, as well as Z's actual family, participated in AHA Heart Walk. He was pushing Leena in the stroller when he took off his hat and his hair puffed up (making me laugh). He wanted me to delete this pic, I'm so happy I didn't.
CJ Nedic He always looked out for his team. One night, after wrapping up whatever event/meeting, he drove past the office to see me still working late in the evening. He came in to check on me (scaring the heck out of me) and to tell me to wrap it up and go home.
CJ Nedic In those early eCOS years, we were trying to sell the business. It meant many long days & nights prepping for the investor meetings. Sometimes we got a little punchy. :-) That was the thing with Z, it didn't seem to matter how tired or stressed we might be, somehow we still managed to have fun and enjoy ourselves.
Nora Elbaba Your presence was always such a blessing.. You will always be present in our hearts ❤️
Sebastien Bohn Everything, anything could become a ´challenge accepted’ with Zaher. Like eating biggest piece of meat possible at 11pm in Raleigh..
Simon Hawken Sometimes it was difficult to remember that the reason we were doing these trips was to win business and sign deals.....and we signed lots of deals.
Serina Bsat This photo was taken in Lebanon in 2014. Everyone was looking forward to his visits. He is a precious cousin.
Simon Hawken We both had terrible jet lag in Australia. Zaher would call me at dawn and ask if I was awake....which I was because of his call!! So we would walk round darling Harbour and wait for the breakfast bar to open.
Chad Papineau Z was incredibly generous - he not only invited my wife and I, but covered our tickets for the AHA heart ball over the course of several years. He always treated us like family. And in always keeping you on your toes, Z spontaneously leapt into my arms for this picture!!
Alessia Adorni Z has been the greatest communicator I have never met. Here at DIA event in Paris in 2015 making an interview with the press... and then having fun with us as usual.
Simon Hawken We covered a lot of ground together in the USA, Europe, Australia, South Africa, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan and China. Never once was I bored or tired of his company. We never argued or fell out. It was all just pure joy.....and huge fun working together.
Simon Hawken Waiting to present to the South African Clinical Research Association Annual Meeting. They didn't know what was about to hit them !!
Simon Hawken And then he hit them !
Simon Hawken Zaher complained that we had filled his diary with meetings on this trip.....I suppose he wasn't expecting that.
Serina Bsat On this day we were on our way to have Lebanese food in London and we called Neeveen when we were in Uber. Even Uber rides were fun with Zaher - his vibes are uniquely positive. I shared this because of his smile♥️
CJ Nedic Z was so crazy about his kids. He would tell us stories about them all the time, his voice full of pride. They were his joy. Since Natalie was the oldest, he would sometimes take her on trips. On one such trip, as I was texting him bugging him for work stuff, he sent me this pic to let me know that he was sitting down to a very important lunch.
Simon Hawken We set up a Digital Channel in Ireland and asked Raeid to move to Dublin.
Raeid Bsat Besides being a loving and caring father, son and friend, Zaher was the best grandson every grandma would wish for. He travelled half way through the world to see her and spent hours, literally, kissing and hugging her.
CJ Nedic Around June 2017, Z brought in the largest deal in Watson Health history. The client had special wine made to commemorate the occasion. Years later, when Seb traveled to China, he would see the same bottles.
Sebastien Bohn Once on a trip in China, having lunch with a client. I was served wine. Guess who was on the wine tag...
Neeveen Bsat Nassar He says : " my beautiful mama, his eternal love, his life..."...
Neeveen Bsat Nassar You loved this restaurant... It was the last family dinner we had..great times that will never be forgotten.
I am just thunderstruck to learn just now (in a web search to casually see what Zaher has been doing) that this truly wonderful man has passed away -- I cannot help crying. This is so terrible, unthinkable -- I am so sorry, and feel deeply the loss that Zaher's family and close friends have åsuffered.
