Wesley (Wes) Sisson

SISSON, Wesley (Wes) Wayne, 68, of Chesterfield, VA, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Garth Sisson and Thelma Wimmer Sisson. Wesley is survived by his wife of 47 years, Glenda (Faye) Underwood Sisson; children, Kristin Williamson (Brandon) and Lisa Carroll (Drew); five grandchildren, Ethan Carroll, Kaylee Williamson, Cole Williamson, Kyle Carroll and Troy (Chippy) Carroll. Wes was born and raised in Richmond, VA as the only child to Thelma and Garth. He enjoyed car shows, Corvettes and building cars. He met his best friend and wife Faye prior to graduating from Thomas Dale High School in 1972. Wes worked at Hermitage Automation and Controls in Ashland, VA for the last 19 years. Over the past 7 years, Wes enjoyed working on the family farm and spent many hours building a new home and renovating the old barn to provide a special place for the family to gather. Wes loved his family and God. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will begin at 11am on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Second Branch Baptist Church, 12217 Second Branch Road, Chesterfield, VA 23838. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Second Branch Baptist Church Building Fund.
