  1. Fred skydog EmerlingI worked for wendell for a few months at Crawford and co in phoenix in 1974 before I got sent to stockton,ca. I tried to find him a few over the years with no luck until today. My best wishes to his family and friends. 17th July, 2025
  2. Chuck mccoyAlthough Wendell was quieter of recent, we kept in touch when I was promoted in 1980 to Bend, Or. when I was his Asst. Mgr. at Crawford & Company in Phoenix. Wendell was very well thought of by the company and my fellow managers when I retired in 2010. He was solid in his beliefs and managerial format. We as a group would have coffee or lemonade for outside breaks, which was unusual for our company but worked for comradery. We played doubles tennis early Saturday mornings, then off to a breakfast which was always something that I have remembered. He and I shared the same birthdate, although he was 12 years older. I have advised of Wendell's passing to a number of C&C managers who knew and respected Wendell., including our then Sr. VP back in Atlanta. My best to the family as there are fond memories for all. 21st April, 2025
