HAMMOND, Walter Sydney Jnr (Wally). 12/10/32 ~ 20/09/13. Passed away peacefully after a long illness aged 80 years; surrounded by family and friends. Passionate owner of Hammond’s Wellington Sightseeing Tours for over 55 years. Beloved husband of Phyllis (dec). Brother of Robert, Ken, Bruce (dec) and Hazel. Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Father to Sheryl, John, Julie, Kay, Brent and Lance. Grandad to Jordana, Centaine, Chanelle, Clint, Luke, Charlotte and Peter. Father-in-law to Greg, Martin, Robert and Emma. Special thanks to his loyal staff and many friends. A big thank you to Hutt Hospital and Shona McFarlane for their kindness and compassion.
