21st May, 1918 - 20th June, 2016Beloved husband of Norma Elsie (Deceased 2007) . Father to John, Carl, Deborah and their partners, Pa/pop to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brother to Clyde (deceased) Keith (deceased). Born in Cooma 21 May 1918. Voluntary Enlisted in the Australian Military Forces 1937 f at the age of 18, and participated in full time War Service from 1940 at the age of 22. WALTER ROBERT WAITE soldiered on until the end and at 98 years of age passed away peacefully in his sleep.
