Walter Joseph WHITBREAD
In the First World War, Walter Joseph WHITBREAD volunteered to serve overseas with the Australian Imperial Force (AIF). He embarked at Adelaide, South Australia aboard HMAT Anchises on 28 August 1916. He was a member of the 43rd Infantry Battalion. Walter is remembered by all his descendants for his service and sacrifice. LEST WE FORGET
