Neet Christmas This is the day I met him (last summer) AND the day I fell in love with him. He was solid and warm and GOOD and THAT smile was infectious! I hardly knew him as long as our mutual friend. But in that short while, he became someone I wanted to know better. I CANNOT imagine how difficult this is for people who knew him LONGER or BETTER - as he only had a moment or two with me. BUT it has made ALL the difference.
I had the pleasure of working with Vincent as a member of the CAS which he supported. I was saddened to hear of his passing. Vincent was always helpful and professional to me. He was a calming influence when I was worried about conference details coming together. He always offered a helping hand and a warm smile. He will be missed.

Carrie Edwards Never could I imagine that your 40th birthday would be the last birthday celebration I'd have with you. In true fashion you had a huge celebration at an all-inclusive, elaborate, ocean front resort in Mexico. It was the biggest celebration as you so much deserved. Leigh Lawrie I always said that God broke the mold when he made Vincent. He would always say, "Awwwww...." when I told him that. I meant it. I am so honored and blessed that I was chosen to be his best friend for 21 years. I have no idea how I am going to be in this world without him. I will miss our many talks, movie and dinner dates, our times laughing together and so much more. He always, always, always had my back and loved me in a way I will forever cherish! Love you Vincent! Clarisa Figueroa I've been trying really hard to find the courage to write on here. I still can't believe we won't be able to go to lunch or grab some coffee together. You would always grab your Jayhawk's coffee mug and stop by my office so we can walk to the kitchen for some coffee and catch up. In the 2 years I knew Vince, I got to make one of my greatest friends and it still breaks my heart that we won't get to talk for at least an hour each day. I still struggle with not calling you or texting you. Vince had the most kindest spirit, the most contagious smile and laugh. He would always talk about how much he loved Mexico, Vegas and New Orleans. He was so wise when he gave advise. He was such an amazing leader and dedicated professional too. I already miss you loving soul, and your good spirits. I was so looking forward to our trip to NOLA and going to Orlando in September. I choose to believe you are now a guardian angel to all of us that love you. Rest in Peace my friend. I will see you in the other side.
