Vera Brissette

Vera Wanda Brissette, 63, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 17th, 2021. Vera is survived by her sister Sharon Bonin, her daughter April Smith, her two granddaughters Olivia Pestana, and Lydia Smith,  and her cat Hannah.    Born on June 18th, 1957 in Richmond Virginia, and daughter of late Walter and Florence Brissette, Vera and her family would relocate to Woonsocket, Rhode Island where she attended High School. Vera was great at her many occupations over her life time, but took great pride and passion in her duties at a former CNA at the Friendly Home. Vera was loved by her many co workers, and her patients to whom she cared for deeply. Vera was an exceptional cook, loved to go for walks, loved to be around friends and have a good time. She was a great mother, grandmother, friend, and soul. Although she was small, she overcame her greatest battles graciously. Her love and light will never be forgotten, as she has instilled the greatest lesson for all of us. No matter how hard life seems “Life is good.” Rest In Peace. We all love and miss you.
