Valerie Winifred Munro

This memorial page is a tribute to the wonderful life of Valerie Winifred Munro, October 30 1926 to April 10 2020. Valerie was the dearly loved sister to Frances, Keith, Edgar and Jeanette; and a loving aunt to her 12 nieces and nephews. Valerie had a long and distinguished career as a nurse. Valerie's interests were many and varied, including farmer, business owner, gardener, artist, potter, photographer, lapidary, skiing and flying. Valerie was a member of numerous organisations in the Central West including CWA, Probus and the Salvation Army. Valerie was a natural nurse and carer, a source of knowledge and skills, a person who embraced life and valued family as all important. She was a proud and independent lady whose legacy is enduring, powerful and unforgettable. Her life lives on in the influence she had on her family and the impact she had in the communities of Carcoar, Orange and the Central West.
