  1. Susan StecherI first met Ursula through tupperware while she was in Harrisburg, PA. I would have parties for her and invite friends to come. I remember visiting her home on Derry Street and getting to know her children. I have fond memories of those times. She told me how much she loved selling tupperware and that she would never work for the state. That changed when she interviewed for a position at Labor & Industry (I believe). While there she met Ron and after a while they were married. I remember visiting her home then near Walmart. Later I learned she had left Ron and had bought Chris's home on the way to Hershey. Since I was not longer driving she picked me up and took me there. She really had made it into a home she enjoyed. I was thinking of her this am and tried to call to find her number no longer exisiting. Then I I started search the internet and found this . She will surely be missed by all who knew her as a caring and lovely person. 21st December, 2024

  3. Jan BloughUrsula will always be in my heart. From the moment she invited me into her home. I felt a special connection. She spoke to me as if she had known me forever. She invited me to return to talk anytime I was nearby. She was a blessing in my life. I pray God gives Ursula the wonderful rest she deserves and blesses her dear family with peace. 6. Sandra BoyleUrsula faced all of her life's challenges displaying a positive outlook. For many years that I knew her, her energy seemed boundless, and she would literally keep going when everyone around her had to stop. Even at those moments when the difficulties of life briefly overwhelmed her, she always displayed faith that tomorrow would be a better day. She truly believed and practiced a philosophy of life that embraced the acceptance of friendship wherever, and with whomever, it could be nurtured. Her talent and creativity translated to not only her home and surroundings, but in her gifts and her contributions to charity. God, in your loving mercy, let her blossom in your Light perpetual.16th November, 2024
  7. David LavantyUrsula’s Garden In a faraway land where rivers wound free, A seed was sown, destined to be. Ursula, born in Germany's embrace, Dreamed of a life in a faraway place. In the late ’60s, she crossed the seas, Carrying hope on a courageous breeze. Harrisburg became the ground she chose, Where her family’s garden would flourish and grow. Six children, like blossoms, each unique, Five sturdy oaks, resilient and sleek. One vibrant rose, her daughter so rare, A delicate bloom, tended with care. As a Tupperware pioneer, she made her mark, Bringing warmth and joy with every spark. Later, in service to the state she gave, Her work ethic steady, her will so brave. Her home was her haven, her love the sun, Nurturing all until the work was done. Through struggles and triumphs, laughter and tears, She cultivated a legacy that spans the years. Now her garden blooms, rooted in love, With her spirit shining in the stars above. Though Ursula rests, her memory stays, In her children’s hearts, her eternal blaze. From Germany's soil to Harrisburg’s shore, She built a life to cherish and adore. A life well-lived, a garden well-tended, Her story of love and strength, unended. Ursula’s seeds have grown far and wide, Her legacy lives, her spirit abides.16th November, 2024
