Tawhai DAVIES

Tawhai Davies Apotoro Rehita of Te Haahi Ratana. Passed away on the 18th May 2007, at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane, Australia. Aged 58 years. Loving husband of Paimarie. Father of Horowai, Tweela, Joseph, Cherie, and Tawhai Jnr. Grandfather of all his mokos. Brother of William, Punaika, Cedric, Waimarie, Henare, Hopa, Louis, George, and Whenu. Whangai: Huia, Dianah and Punaika Jnr. Missed by his fellow Apotoro, and his many friends in Australia and New Zealand. Tawhai will arrive back in New Zealand on the 22nd May 2007, and will lie at Te Haroto Marae (Napier/taupo Road) from the 23rd May 2007. Burial service will be held on Friday 25th May 2007 at 2.00 p.m.
