Join MemoriesSylvia was one of the first people to stop in to my mum and dad’s room at Amaroo when they first moved in, introducing herself and checking in on them. Her friendliness, openness and fantastic laugh was a real help to them in the strangeness of their new environment. As a result, I’d always try to pop my head in when visiting. She was a character and will be missed. Warmest wishes to the family.
End of an era. My Dad’s sister. My Aunty Joy . Sending our condolences to the family in the West from your family in the East. Strength and love to you all. May she rest in peace. Re-united with her beloved husband and son and many more before her. 💖💖 Lesley and Corky and family.
My beautiful Aunty Joy, gone but never forgotten, memories of your beautiful knitting and you lovely letters you frequently wrote will live on in my heart.. you will be greeted by your loving husband Mick and your other family members you have lost on the way.. i will miss you xx
My thoughts are with all family and friends. Joy will be sorely missed during our visits to McMahon. Rest in Peace beautiful lady.
To my favorite aunty, thank you for the memories.
So many memories of Aunty Joy.. mostly when they’d come to see Elsie. Aunty Joy taught myself & my brother Steve to play Chinese checkers and this was so much fun as we were getting bored of cards!!! We had Sunny 🐕 to play with and Mick + Joy were great company (probably kept us out of Elsies hair!!) I thank them so much for the memories and of all the wonderful stories Ive heard about their adventures wayyy before I was even born! I hope they’re all up there (my mum included) having laughs and a few beers 🍺 Love to the whole family xx
