    Susan Ugochi Mbawuike

    12th May, 1988 - 31st May, 2022

    On May 31st, 2022, Susan unexpectedly passed away, leaving behind her grandmother, parents, three younger siblings, and countless other loving family members. She was only 34 years old.     Funeral Service Information Susan's Funeral Service will be on Saturday, June 18th at 10am at the Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home 9902 Braddock Road Fairfax, VA 22032. A reception will follow at Susan’s childhood home in Centreville at 1:30pm. Please RSVP at tinyurl.com/susanmba

    Kelsey Kirland Oh Susan! I missed you today. I was traveling for work which you would have loved because I was having some much needed no kid time while exploring new places. I was starving and found myself at a new west african restaurant. I ordered a bowl of rice and beans with a traditional Nigerian red sauce. It was absolutely delicious! Almost as good as the Nigerian food I had at your graduation party. I’ve kept this very special outfit for the past twelve years wondering when I would wear it next. Ill break it out in a few years and remember you again. love you my sweet friend!
