Family and friends
Shrinivas Krishnamurthy If i were to call Sunil my only friend in this world, it would not be a lie. For almost 30 years we have been each other's safety net in life, always pulling each other out of tough situations and then celebrating the victory over a few beers on a Saturday night. He is easily the most likeable person I've ever known. A darling for our parents and our kiddos as well. His moral fibre remains an aspiration for me. Asking myself what would Sunil do, has made me make the right call all my life. From trivial things like what motorcycle or car to buy to life defining things like who to date/marry, Sunil has been the logical definitive source of truth for many of us. I can only say i love him and will never Stop being grateful that he is such an important part of my life.
Rithika Ramesh There was only one Sunil, but there were many versions of this Sunil. Serial prankster Sunil, drunk Sunil, sober Sunil, helpful Sunil, happy Sunil, annoying Sunil... But the one thing he did consistently was to bring all of us together and he still does it somehow. So many memories of Sunil to hold on to... all those midnight birthday cake cuttings, fish tanks, sultry power cut nights outside the gate with Sush and him, the DIY diwali kandeel every year, him dancing the same way whether drunk or sober, all those "what men", trying to convince EVERY single kid he met that his name was Mickey Mouse! And my most favourite memory, him trusting me with his car enough to allow me to drive it (sorry Sush)! I imagine he's watching over us and most definitely laughing at us as always.
Not a single day goes without thinking of Sunil. Big brother A friend A mentor And now A Shining star 🌟
