Steven Lin

Steven Yih-Wei Lin, born April 24, 1977 in West Frankfort, Illinois, passed away July 13, 2015 in San Lorenzo, California. He is survived by his wife Amy Chang-Chien, parents Thomas and Amy, and brother Michael.<br><br>Steven was kind, humble, and loving. He was a software engineer in bioinformatics. Together with his wife Amy, he was a devoted member of the Buddhist community. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as hiking and bicycling, working on his home and garden, and spending time with family and friends. Those of us who were fortunate to share our lives with him felt a steadfast goodness, sincerity, and cheerfulness that radiated from him.<br><br>Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 25 from 9-10 AM at Lima and Campagna Sunnyvale Mortuary (1315 Hollenbeck Ave, Sunnyvale, CA). There will be a preceding Buddhist recitation for those interested, from 8:30-8:55 AM.
