There is a small pocket on the left sleeve which has a zip down one side and pockets on the outside for pens. This whole pocket is on the outside of the sleeve and is completely visible. Just to the right of this the words "ROSS / PEET" have been written in blue marker pen. Underneath the slit is the label. This bears the following information. "Spicer / FLYING / SPORTSWEAR / OF MELBOURNE / MADE IN KOREA". Two small tags are attached to this. The first states "100% NYLON / SIZE 100 / 40 / TO FIT CHEST 100cm". The second states "CARE LABEL / DRY CLEAN ONLY / A 40 C DO NOT / IRON OR PRESS KNIT". The jacket together with the helmet (H90.248) and t-shirt (H90.242) were standard issue from the company Matthew Hall. Boots were also issued but were not donated to the museum. There was a waiting period of 2 weeks before being issued with the jacket. The jacket belonged to Ross Peet, a plumber who works in Perth or up north, and lives in Margaret River when he has time. He has worked on the Princess of Wales wing at Fremantle Hospital, the Merlin Hotel and the R & I tower behind the Palace Hotel. See H90.235-237, 243-245 and 248-9 for other objects and costume relating to his work as a plumber. http://museum.wa.gov.au/online-collections/content/H1990.243
