Sherri Whitham

Sherri Beth Whitham passed away peacefully and entered the gates of heaven to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of April 27, 2023. She was born on August 22, 1953 in Greenville, Ohio and then spent most of her life in northern California. Recently, she had been living in Vista, California to be near her daughter, Rachel Uchida-McCord, and Rachel’s family. Sherri had a diverse career in finance, worked at USPS, and performed as a musician. Most recently, she had been doing the job she loved best, which was providing music lessons to children. Sherri was passionate about music and also loved nature, cooking and reading. Sherri is pre-deceased by her father, Lloyd Whitham, and her mother Jo Ann Whitham. She is survived by Rachel (Ronnie McCord, husband; Reina McCord, granddaughter), her sister, Jodi Bond (Robert Bond, husband), her brother, Dan Whitham (Itesca Whitham, wife), her brother Craig Whitham by Lloyd’s prior marriage (Sue Whitham, wife), and her sister Shirley Bonkowski by Lloyd’s prior marriage (John Bonkowski, husband). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins. She chose to have a “green” burial at Westwood Hills Memorial Park in Placerville, California. As per Sherri’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held and she requests no flowers or donations.
