HICKING, Sheila Wendy (“Gentleness Personified”) On the 13th June, at Heretaunga Rest home, aged 68, Sheila exited this mortal coil after a courageous battle with Brain Cancer. She is now free and flying with the angels. • Adored partner of Noeline; dearest sister of Terry Doel; Much Loved by ‘Bill Wilsons’ friends – Ali, Brenda, Beryl, Debs, Donella, Frankie, Martin, Peter(s), Pip, Polly, Sharlene, Tanya, Tim and Plimmerton Group. Special thanks to the medical staff and caregivers at Heretaunga for their superb care, exceptional kindness & compassion. Very special thanks to the ‘Te Omanga Hospice’ support team who provided amazing assistance throughout this challenging journey for Sheila.
