Sharna Lee Westaway
9th January, 1988 - 21st February, 2017Our precious Daughter and adored Sister Sharni, glided to Heaven in Februaury 2017, in the prime of her life, at the tender age of 29 years. Sharni was the light of our lives and her light will live on in our broken hearts for as long as we all live. Our sweet, caring and gentle baby girl was happiest with the simple things in life, camping, camp fires, star gazing, the Mighty Murray River, a cold beer, her beloved dogs and boisterous family get togethers. Sharni prided herself on her privacy, independence, loyalty and cruisey laid back ways. As her family, we will always be proud of her many achievements... her amazing work ethic, buying her house at just 19 years of age, being such a loving 'mum' to Marley and Rasta, being so loyal, a self taught drummer, a Saints supporter, her deep love of music, not involving herself in gossip, her respect and genuine care towards the fragile and elderly, her love of nature and natural healing, her quirky language and nicknames for others, her inner gentleness, her low maintenance nature, her faith, wisdom and beliefs and last but not least her inner beauty that radiated for all the world to see...amongst a million other things. In Summer, Sharni's favourite season, she was at her happiest where she could be found enjoying a nice cold beer, where the beach, the sun and water made her shine even brighter. Sharni was born in 1988, The Bicentenary Year of Australia and what a perfect way to celebrate with a proud little Aussie girl, all blonde hair and blue eyed. We were blessed to share a magical 29 years with our amazing girl, we wish with all of our hearts that it was so much longer, but Sharni's laughter, heart and soul will live on in our treasured memories for all of Eternity. Sharni's gift to us was Eternal Love. We Loved you like there was no tomorrow... And then one day, there wasn't.
