Roy Owen Simpson

Passed peacefully in his sleep at Taranaki Base Hospital. Much loved husband for nearly 60 years to Dorothy. Treasured dad of Diane, Trevor and the late Bruce, and father in law of Phil and Cheryl. Loved poppa and grandad of Kyran and Samantha, Julian and Emily, Stefanie and Ben, Nicholas, Josh, Taylor and Amy. Respected stepfather of Lance and Helen. Loved grandad of David and Boo, Andrew, and Claire, Emma and Andre and their families. Roy will be resting at Trev and Cheryl’s, 69 McGiven Drive, Frankleigh Park, New Plymouth, for family and friends who would like to have a private farewell. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Taranaki would be appreciated and can be left in the Chapel foyer. A celebration of Roy’s life will be held in the Chapel of W. Abraham 366 Devon Street East, New Plymouth, on Wednesday December 3, 2014, at 10.30am followed by private cremation.
