Ross Wayne Owen

OWEN, Ross Wayne, aged 66 years.  On Sunday 9th December 2018 in Tauranga Hospital after a short illness. Cherished and devoted husband of Carol (Lewis-Owen). Loving Dad of Rhys (Ruakaka) and Step-Dad of Sarah and David Walton (Tauranga), Vicki Whalley and Kirk Vosper, (Tauranga). Dearest Granddad of Connor and Nia, Max and Quinn, Odin and Reeve.  Treasured brother and brother-in-law of Carol Clark and Julie and Alan Koura (Aust) and a much loved uncle to his nephews and nieces. A respected member of the Kawerau Bowling Club, Ross will be deeply missed by his fellow bowlers, many friends and family. A celebration of Ross’ life will be held at 2pm in the Kawerau Bowling Club, Prideaux Park, Plunket St, Kawerau, on Friday 14th December followed by a burial in the Kawerau Cemetery, Valley Road, Kawerau.  In lieu of flowers donations in Ross’ memory can be made to Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand C/- Po Box 99-182 Newmarket, Auckland 1149 or may be left at the service.
