Family and friends
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Gee, a long-time resident of Rochester Hills, Michigan, who left us on January 13, 2025 at the age of 77. Ron was the son of the late Charles and Gim Gee. He was the loving husband to the late Sonja Gee and devoted father to Steven (Annie Lee) Gee. He was a proud grandfather to Summer Gee and River Gee, and a cherished brother to t... more

Steven Gee For our Christmas trip to Michigan, grandpa took the kids sledding every day.
I met Ron when we both worked at Ameritech but became closer friends over the last 8 years or so, when we would have regular lunches with our friend Ty. I was there "designated driver" (translation: my gas and car was used and not his - a nod to his frugality) However, he paid for my lunch many many times (a big thank you for his generosity)During...

My family (my mom actually) is the one that adopted young Ron, Bob and Dick when they traveled to California in the rickety Corvair. We had such fun when they came and camped in our backyard after Leo Carrillo. We have shared the story of meeting and adopting the boys with many folks over the years. Such an incredible tale! The best part was tha...
I first met Ron in 1963 when, having just obtained his driver's license, he drove over to our house in his 1955 Ford. I can still see him sitting in our living room tossing his car keys in the air and catching them. I (being 14 years old) thought "wow--that's what freedom looks like, he can drive anywhere he wants to go". I shared this memory with...
Ron was someone who truly enjoyed having a good time. Sometimes, Ron and I teamed up for late night euchcre in our fraternity house. Ron played unconventionally and really drove the opponents nuts at times. And, hand claps and shouts were exchanged when we euchred the other team or won a game. He also liked practical jokes. He lived in our ...
Ron was such a hospitable guy. I went to school with Steve since the 8th grade. I remember having a pool party, sleepover for my birthday in Canada. On our way back to the US, Ron invited all the families at the party to a nice restaurant in Canada where we ate together and had a blast. On another occasion, I remember having a sleepover at Ron and...
Steven Gee Happy birthday to my dad. He never ages. May we all be so lucky.
