Eleonora J. Romuva Rolandas grandfather Stasys Dambrauskas passed away. Stasys and his wife Petronele Dambrauskiene built their house in Masiuliai village, Lithuania in 1935. Stasys owned xx acres as volunteer in Lithuania's army. He was very well acknowledged blacksmith, innovator of creative technological solutions, as well as a man who could find water streams and capable of healing some sicknesses in non-traditional way. Grandpa Stasys planted garden for his grandchildren consisting of 90 trees: cherries, apples and pears. Rolandas spent all his summers at his grandparents house in Masiuliai with his cousins fishing, swimming, dreaming and helping grandparents around the house and garden. Rolandas eye for photography has been influenced by the beauty of the nature at the grandparents country side. Rolandas was very small when grandpa passed away, yet Rolandas love for iron is definitely connected with grandpa's legacy.

Eleonora J. Romuva Rolandas started 1st grade at Karaliaus Mindaugo school (aka 35th) in Vilnius, Lithuania

Eleonora J. Romuva With Rolanda's grandma's Petronele passing away, Rolandas no longer stayed at Masiuliai village during his summers. Unfortunately, with grandma's passing away, the house did not sustain. Today cherry, apple and pear trees are the only reminders of the happy summer days spent at grandparents place.
