Roger Thomas Wilson of Las Vegas, NV passed away on Tue Dec 31 2024, at the age of 82. He was born on June 17, 1942 in Pocatello, Idaho to Louise (née Blakely) and Homer Wilson. After graduating from Pocatello High School in 1961 he did a stint in the US Army based out of Germany. Upon returning he moved to Las Vegas, where he found work in the casino industry. He was working as a keno writer at the legendary Silver Slipper Gambling Hall when he met Lourdes ”Ludy” Andrada whom he married in 1970. Before the onset of parenthood, he enjoyed riding his horse Chinaberry on the outskirts of town. He is preceded in death by his parents and his son’s mother Ludy. He is survived by his sons William and Joe Wilson and their families; three grandchildren, Brooke, Elliott and Lois, and his sisters Mary Klosowski Lewis and Margaret Geist. A celebration of life was held at Mountain View Cemetery on April 15, 2025. Roger Thomas's memory will live on in the hearts of family and friends, in the stories and songs and laughter shared.
