Robert Pastorelli

Robert Joseph Pastorelli was an American actor who passed away tragically at the age of 49. Most remember him for the TV series "Murphy Brown." He is also known for the role of an oddball hit man in "Be Cool" with John Travolta. Born 1954 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, after pursuing theater in New York he moved to Los Angeles and found work in 1987 in the movie “Outrageous Fortune” along Shelley Long and Bette Midler. That same year he co-starred with Eddie Murphy in the action film, "Beverly Hills Cop II." However, in 1988, he became a household name when he took the role of a painter in the television comedy series “Murphy Brown” with Candice Burgen. In 1990, Pastorelli appeared in his first substantial film role in "Dances with Wolves" with Kevin Costner and three years later he appeared in “Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit.” In 1996 he co-starred in “Michael” with John Travolta.
