Robert Galitski

Born March 25, 1927 | Passed away October 28, 2021 He was loved by many and revered by most. He led a long-storied life. Bob was also known as Smokey in his youth and more recently Father Bob. He taught grade school math for most of his career in Huntington Beach, California and was an avid golfer, bowler, pool shark and poker player. On October 25, 2021, he played cards with a table full of family members at a that game, and no one cut him any slack and he WON! Survived by his children, Guy, Kim, Kurt and Shane and the multitude of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Through his life you would often hear him saying … “Do you want to hear a true story?” And even if you had heard it already, it did not stop him from telling you again. At 94 plus years of life boy did he have stories. He is now reunited with his wife, Phyllis of 64 years in heaven and he will forever be our dad.
