Beloved husband of Christine for 53 years. Father of Peta, Erica and Janna, Grandfather of Charlie, Zoe, Stephanie, Henry, Alistair, Flossie & Crispin, and brother of Gill. Richard lived in Oxted, Surrey, with Christine and latterly equally between Oxted and Perth, WA. Richard & Christine were first introduced to WA when he was sent there to work for The Woodside Consortium in 1972 to act as Land Manager for the North West Shelf. They returned to England in 1975 where he took up a post with BP. He retired as Company Secretary from BP in 1994 and set up a consultancy business advising insurance companies and breweries. He then became Company Secretary at British American Tobacco for 7 years, before moving to Whittingtons. He retired for a second time in 2011 at the age of 70. He died suddenly at home in Perth after suffering a serious head injury. Much missed and forever in our hearts.
