Goodbye Rich, There are so many people that will sincerely miss you, your spirit, loyalty , humour and just wanting to be around you. I have lots of fond memories of the times with you going back many years and especially with the early leadership councils watching your passion for the business, always supporting a work together culture and helping...
Troy Sparkman So many great times we had, but we never got that game of golf which we spoke about so often. You were one of a kind Hilly. Generous with your time, open with your opinions, and passionate about living life to the fullest. Our deep conversations I will miss the most, (sometimes you were wrong) but I will never forget your words of wisdom. Forever in my thoughts…here fishy, fishy, fishy 🎣🎣🎣❤️❤️❤️

Scott Gunson 1994 Restaurant Managers Convention in Vancouver. Richard, Luke Summers, Jason Masters, Joss Dwyer and I took 4 months to plan our trip. We met weekly at the White Sands where we ended up drinking too much and betting on the dogs instead of planning. In Vancouver, Richard got us kicked out of our own hotel lobby for being “Impaired” (He had only had 2 at that stage). First of many memorable trips with Richard ❤️❤️❤️
Kerry O’Meara When in doubt number 7 in the seventh.RIP Richard. Many 🏇⛳️🥃🍻memories. Kerry and Gavin.
Cathy Hadlow Wonderful memories of the times with the RMH Ball committee in Kalgoorlie. It was a privilege to have known Richard. So shocked and saddened that he was taken so soon. He was one of the most generous people we have met and would have done anything for anyone. Deepest condolences to Annie, Jen, Tom and Nick. He was a one in a million. With Love

Michelle Popplewell ‘Bear’ was the perfect nickname for you - at first glance you were scary as a Grizzly bear but when anyone got to know you the Gentle bear truely shone through … Generous and protective of anyone in your Cave 💞 You loved to remind me that I was older than you but you departed first - not fair 😢 Best 5yrs working with you ✅ Enjoy your cruise upon the ocean 🥰
Julie Klobas A fabulous, fun, kind and honest man. RIP Richard. Your beautiful family will be well looked after with your spirt over looking them. And plenty of friends and family to check in on them. I remember so many different memories, but this one is a favourite! You and Annie - Fred and Wilma at my Birthday. Then we all headed over to Rotto. One of your fave destinations! I remember you saying... " well, if you had to get a job... then working on Rotto would do nicely". Your advice to Connor.... "go the fame... go the fame" . Emerik always loved the cherry ripes you handed out and Logan, well you always will be a. gentle giant. Dave and I will always remember your commitment to helping others. The Klobas Family xx

Misty Bazeley I’ll never forget Burger time going past the post first. Screaming him home. There’s people everywhere as Baze n I are trying to get down the grandstand. As we look down a man in a flamingo covered Hawaiian shirt is walking at great speed toward the mounting enclosure. It was like he was floating. People parted for him like he was a boat cruising through the sea! I think back at it and laugh cos we had to run flat out to catch him. I will never forget how happy and excited Hilly was this day. And I never wanted the day to end. Was the best feeling getting to be a part of something big with someone you love and admire so much. I get to see this picture on my wall everyday. It’ll be just a little bit more special now

David Green I’ve been lost for words and reflecting on over 25 years of friendship and events we have done together Rich, started in Kal with the RMHC ball in a basketball shed that I said your kidding right but as you said we can make it work, we did. Not only did we do some amazing events and party’s we had a lot of fun in the process, you became one of my best mates, mentor, brother and someone who was always there whenever or for whatever. Covid hit my industry hard and again you were there to support me and talk to me and kept me going. You were always you and that was loved by all including the time you got $100 off Jess Mauboy for a raffle ticket, iVA Davies Icehouse buying you a beer, Shane Jacobson becoming a RIchard Hill Fan, Kurt from INXS Hosting him for dinner at Nobu, rain drenched Rotto for a Farnham gig, the list goes on and on the stuff we did together and loved doing it together, you weren’t a gig guy but you had it in your blood. I remember Greedy from Mentals doing their last show at the Licensees convention before he passed away cause you loved the Mentals. You were a massive supporter of the entertainment industry and I’ll miss you everyday mate. I’m so glad we spoke the night before you passed and again all you cared about was how I was in true RIchard Hill form, Don’t feel bad mate it’s ok you repeatedly said. My fondest was at my 50th in New York City as Jaz was singing at the lunch you had tears rolling down your cheek cause you were a emotional, caring loving human that we will all miss dearly. Love ya mate and as Annie said thanks for the ride and we got it now brother but I’ll Miss you everyday. GCKGC

Richo, U were not only Large, Loud and extremely Generous ! U were a competitive beast on the Golf Course, The Racecourse, The Beer Pong Table and of course any table game at The Duke! Bree Dempsey Thank you so much Richard for making me a part of your family and showing me how much family’s can really love and support each other. Without the Hill family, I’m not sure what kind of person I would be today. But I do know that, I am very proud of who I am and what I have achieved personally and professionally and absolutely could not have achieved this without you lot ❤️ You always told me how much you would love to take Ninja out onto the boat and introduce him to the cray fish 🤦♀️ So, in your honor (in a more ethical way 😂) - Ninja has become the cray fish 🦞🐱
Many memories of an amazing family in the Goldfields. We hope Richard’s memories provide some comfort in time🙏 Golfing, Ronald MacDonald Ball, Middle island fishing dinners and much more in the community. You were missed a lot when you left the Goldfields. A much bigger loss now. Love to all who knew and loved Richard.
Richard…A genuinely quality human being who's asset of “inclusion” was something we were all the beneficiaries of in so many ways. You will be missed and remembered in so many ways it just doesn’t seem real! What a ripper bloke and a ripper family xx

Richard, I have known you since I was 15. 37 years now in fact and it has been an honour. Those early teenage years were made easier with your guidance and was just what I needed. 25th February, 1989.
