Peacefully on August 10 2012 at the Christchurch Hospital surrounded by her loving whanau. Loving and cherished wife of the late David, much adored and loving mother and best friend to Mutu, Sheena, Hapeti, Herena, Rita, Karl, Clive, Mate, Wally, and Amber. Loving daughter of the late Matekino and Joseph Byrne, loving sister to Mavis Karena and the late Mary Johnson. Adored and respected mother in law and very special and cherished nana and Toa of her mokopuna. Loved with a love beyond all telling, Missed with a grief beyond all tears. To the world she was but one. To us she was the world.
