Kate Cunnane Happy, happy birthday Peter! I can’t think of a single memory of a family gathering from my childhood or literal whole life that you have not been at - I truly wouldn’t have it any other way! You were always my built in brother, and my confidant- from hiding in closets to hours of America’s funniest home videos, all of the obx trips, watching you perform at warped tour, graduations, kickass bar tending at my bridal shower, both of our weddings, and all of the seemingly more small, casual moments in between that make up the sum of someone’s life, I can’t say enough how grateful & thankful I am to have you! ❤️I hope you have the best birthday and know how deeply loved you are by myself and so many others, today and everyday! Emily Ann This is definitely not my only memory, but one I feel just encompasses you, (and I couldn't find the photo of you wearing your t-rex hat lol) just hanging out with a mason jar full of beer hahah I am so very thankful to have someone like you in my life! I am also thankful to have gone from being your annoying little cousin, to celebrating your birthday by getting soaked in Animal Kingdom, and to having beers at Wiley Gunters when its 20 degrees outside. Chris Roden Dude, I'm so glad I met you. We've had just a TON of great times together (some evidenced by photos, some not). It's a shame I haven't had a chance to come visit since the Pyro farewell show, but I'll do my best to get back over to VA soon enough! AJ Barnard Happy birthday ya squirrelly SOB! Big throwback to that one week where we caught like 600 salamanders in between drinking lots of Coors Light and screaming Hank Hill references at people in the woods (THEY SHOT LADYBIRD). This is my favorite Peter picture because you’re not sure whether he’s taunting our BP opponents or constipated - why not both?? At this point I’d already known Pete through our classes at VT, but I always remember this as the week where him and I started to become tight. 8 years later and between breaking FIFA controllers, blacking out at Spring game tailgates and shutting down BookHolders so we could play “Squrd Ball” (if you know you know) this man’s been a huge part of my 20’s and I can’t wait until we can all squad up again. Tonya Verity 2018 gave us this beautiful Kaiju themed pop-up bar for your birthday and I have accepted that I will never be able to recreate such an on-brand party for you. I love you so much and I am very happy I get to celebrate you each year.
