Lisa Strickland Daddy, I love you. I miss you. What an amazing Dad you are. You came to parties and plays, and painted my wagon to look like the Partridge Family bus. When this little girl wanted a pony, you bought me a pony. You held my hand, dried my tears with 3 words, and provided big shoes to fill that only Brinson can ever measure up to. You will always be my advisor because your voice and guidance will always be in my heart. I still feel your big hugs, or "Chicago Hugs" as we called them. Don't rest easy Daddy - go make raucous among the stars, create laughter in the heavens, and rain down memories and motivation to all of us who will never stop needing you. See you in a minute Daddy. I count it an honor to have known this wonderful man and to have been a small part of his life. Thank you Pete for your friendship and for sharing your precious daughter Lisa with me. She is who she is because of who you were. Clara is a most fortunate woman to have been your wife and you were equally as fortunate to have shared your life with her....
