Peter Cominos

Peter George Cominos, OAM Born 12th November 1928. Died 15th November 2019 Peter passed away peacefully at his home, The Cairns Aged Care Center at Chapel Hill, surrounded by his family. He is sadly missed. Loving husband of Cecilia Beloved father and father-in-law of Belle and Richard, Diane and Chris, Maria and Rowan Treasured grandfather of Daniel, Alexander, Jemma and Georgianna, and step grandfather of Morgan and Paris Dear brother of Toula and Manuel, Brother in law of Lene, Lily(deceased) and John(deceased), Uncle of Helen and David Peter lived his last years at the Cairns Center in Brisbane but his heart always held a special place for Cairns North Queensland, his birthplace and where he lived for so many years. Cairns North Queensland was Peter's home and home to so many of his friends and colleagues. Peter loved the people and the beauty of North Queensland till his dying day.
