Diane Haggerty To cousin David and family, I am so grateful I was able to attend via livestream from here in California; wish I could have been there in person. Such a lovely tribute, to such a wonderful person! I miss Pam already, and she was taken from us too soon indeed. Her light and love will truly live on through us all! Here's a photo of Pam and I from my 2010 visit to Perth. We all had such a great time together! So glad we were able to do that. Pam was so good about keeping in touch, and sharing such cheerful, newsy letters/emails, that it doesn't seem like it was really that long ago since we saw each other! Love her so much. Sending love and hugs to you and all the family...know that she is still with us, shining bright over us all.
Diane Haggerty David, here is the best picture I took of you and Pam from my last visit (2010 -- how time flies!). I hold two images of you and Pam in my mind and heart: this one, from the last time I saw you both in person, and another image, of you and Pam when you visited us in Concord, California in the 1970s, recently married, with your dark hair and beard, and Pam with her short brown hair and sunglasses, and both of you in shorts, freshly arrived from Canada, and off on another adventure. As a child I was so impressed with you both, and as a girl I was especially impressed with how adventurous Pam was! Wow, she was ready to go anywhere, and (to my mind) do anything! And, she did. Her life was an adventure, and she lived it to the fullest. Such a creative and vibrant person, and such a loving and happy soul. How blessed we all are to have been in her presence.
