Celebrating the life of

Pacita Marasigan James

22 May 1950 - 03 Jun 2018

I pay my respect and tribute today to Pacita Marasigan James, born on 22 May 1950, in Manila-Phillipines. She was the daughter to Anita and Sixto Marasigan, the middle child of a humble but proud existance. She passed away on 3 June, following a long and ardous battle with cancer. A daughter, a wife, a sister, an aunt, a grand aunt or a friend-if you were fortunate enought to know her, you would know that her bright and cheery personallity resonated througout these memories. She would have made you laugh, feel safe, feel comforted, feel loved. Her generosity of spirit, social advocacy and enourmous capacity to care for other people was her true strength and legacy. She never allowed adversity stand in her way-time and time again, she would stand on her own two feet. You could say she lived life in her own terms. Pacita is survived by her sister Mary Jane, brother Hercules, sister in law Lisa, nieces Raquel and Rachel, nephews Mark and Adrian, nephew in law Michael and grand children Stephanie, Symantha and Michael. She will be missed dearly by all but she is finally at peace. She will finally be rejoined with her beloved mother, Anita and husband, John.
