LEWTHWAITE, Olive Merle (nee Maindonald). Merle passed away peacefully at Huntleigh Rest Home, Karori, on Monday 24 September 2018, aged 90 years. Much loved wife of (the late) Ivor and mother to Errol & Christine, Diane, Dot & Bruce, Hilary & Ralph. Treasured Nana to Natasha and Danielle, Katja and Peter, Mikayla, Caitlin, Keelan and Tyler. Loving sister to (the late) Doug, (the late) Aynsley and Florence. As a family we are grateful for the loyal and uncompromising love that Merle has shown everyone in the family, close or extended and are reminded of 1 Corinthians 13:13 that says “And of all these things three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” Thanks to all the staff at Huntleigh for their dedicated care and attention over the past few months.
