Rembering Nick as a true gentleman who was loved by many, lived an amazing life from a child in Italy to owning his Ice cream company along with his late wife Rey, together they were amazing. Nic, We first knew you and Rey through her Santa Maria connection and then later on we were really thrilled when you joined Attadale Rotary. You were a very good Rotarian and a friend to all. Sabina Raffaele Nick, my dearest friend of so many years, even though I live in Melbourne we spent our childhood together in Italy. I am so grateful that I saw you again not long ago when I spent a week in Perth, even though it was only a week but it was quality time. To me you were like a brother. So many fond memories of gelati factories, Hawkins St dinners & other get-togethers. Nicky was a true gentleman. Hard-working, kind, generous, funny & so loving of his family. Evelina Odorisio When you were little, you used to mix snow with fruit juice to make ice cream. Making ice cream was your childhood dream. So one day you left with a cardboard suitcase for Australia, with that dream in your pocket and after many sacrifices and difficulties (months of travel by ship, away from your loved ones, financial difficulties, difficulties with the language), Nick Odorisio’s Italian ice cream "breaks" in Perth, Singapore and beyond with the Azzura Gelati. It was the best ice cream I had ever eaten, made with fresh milk and strictly Italian ingredients. Today you go away in silence... but what the Earth divides into Heaven comes together again. You will embrace grandmother, grandfather, uncle Antonio and dad. Everything is accomplished... Have a nice trip to heaven uncle ❤️ Evelina Odorisio
