HALES, Nicholas Richard (Nick) 27/1/54 – 18/10/2017 Worshipped and idolized son of Dick and Pat Hales. Loved partner of Takirua. Loving father of Tara, Julian and Ryan. Much loved brother to Philippa, Penny, Patrick and Vanessa. Loved uncle to Alex and Monique, Kelly, Matthew and Bianca and his four grandchildren. Great friend and old soldier to Pom, Rama and whanau. A celebration of Nick’s life will be held at the Church of St George and St John, 30 Domain Road, Whakatane on Saturday, 21 October 2017 at 11.00am followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations of food, alcohol and recreational drugs would be much appreciated.
